Welcome to Cloud Cline!

Hey friends! The blog On Cloud Cline is a long time in coming and I’m so glad that you are here to help kick it off. My hubby, Vince, said the other day that it is the nature of humans to be entertained. Agree or not, I’m here for it and hope you’ll be entertained.

This blog will document us renovating and styling our forever home that we affectionately call Cloud Cline. It’s also the musings of a legal advocate, occasional writer of comedic pieces, building science appreciator, motivator, DIYer, and gardener. Cloud Cline is where Vince and I met, its where we got married, it’s where we have expended a lot blood, sweat and tears over the years. It’s our silver lining.

We’re just kicking off the build process. The design is complete (more to come), the engineer and architect have stamped the drawings and released them for construction. Contractors are bidding the project. While the estimating process in going on, I’m going to take a look back at the design, how we got here and important decisions that home owners must make. And, I’m going to start with how we found Cloud Cline.
